Michael Buble performed his first concert in Seoul last week at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium. He performed all his own hits along with covers of other pop hit songs. For more about his performance read the article on the Korean Herald. Buble, however, made headlines in Korea before the show even began by posting a snippet of his cover of Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips.” Watch the clip from Buble’s Facebook below. The song was a request from on of his Instagram followers and a way to warm up to the upcoming audience.

Since the songs release in June of 2014 it has been a favorite of casual listeners, hardcore fans, and colleagues. Taeyangs album, Rise, reached an All-Kill in Korea(#1 on all charts), as well as reaching #1 on Itunes in 10 countries. Rise became the highest ranking K-pop solo artist album to chart on Billboard debuting at #112 on Billboard Hot 200, #1 on Billboard World Albums Chart, and #1 on Heatseekers Albums Chart. Due to the massive popularity of the song and album, fan made and professional covers have run wild. There have been covers from stars in training, school students, Youtube stars, and even fellow YG labelmates. Here are some of our best covers of Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips.”

This might seem a little staged, but hey the voice is there!

The quality and background give us the impression this is a real high school recording, not something set up.
