Sushi Shiro in Hongdae

Good sushi is hard to come by in Seoul if your accustomed to great restaurants found in places like New York and Los Angeles. However, if your looking for some of the best sushi in Seoul, look no further than Sushi Shiro. Sushi Shiro is a small Japanese restaurant located near Sangsu station that offers amazing lunch and dinner courses. With prices that range from 22,000won at lunch to a more extravagant 66,000 won “Omakase” set, it is a restaurant that definitely offers great value regardless of which set you choose. I’d recommend getting a seat at the Sushi bar and watching carefully as the capable chef masterfully puts your meal together, one piece at a time. Be warned, Sushi Shiro is primarily a sushi and sashimi restaurant. Thus, the entire meal will be raw dishes. If your looking for more cooked dishes, you may want to try other Japanese restaurants.
