Korean Fashion Picks of the Week: April 13th-19th Victoria Lin Fashion Although trends are often used to market certain products to consumers, Seoulites show off their personal styles that sets them apart from the media’s noise. Mixing pieces in the most creative ways possible, Seoulites know how to style their most casual pair of pants, overalls, and even a high crewneck jumper! While everyone else is following the latest trend, these Seoulites have a mind of their own. Here are SeoulSync’s Korean fashion picks of the week: At SeoulSync, we wonder where this Seoulite found such an eye-catching topbecause it fits her ensemble perfectly! So cool and so casual, we also love her cut-up jeans. Ever thought about wearing a sheer skirt over a pair of shorts? This look is refreshing and definitely unique. Sporty, preppy, and urban, this duo knows how to mix a collared shirt, knee-high socks, and a baggy jumpsuit. Brooklyn meets Los Angeles! Print-blocking doesn’t only have to be on clothing – why not on a clutch as well? Perhaps inspired by Yohji Yamamoto’s avant-garde design aesthetic, which often embodies his signature draped look in all black, this Seoulite’s style is not of the norm. In Korea, women tend to like an outfit that is much more sweet. Wearing a pair of clogs, this Seoulite lets her garments speak for themselves. This combination of a chambray shirt, suspenders, and rolled-up denim jeans casts its own charm with a little bit of an American flair. Only this Seoulite can make such a casual pair of overalls into the chicest pair of overalls we’ve seen this week! That’s it for this week be sure to check back soon for our next installment of up to date fashion from Korea. If you missed last week’s fashion trends don’t forget to check that out as well!
